DRDO RCI Apprentice Recruitment 2027 Overview
Research Centre Imarat (RCI), a premier laboratory under the Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Missile Complex, DRDO, Hyderabad, has invited online applications for the engagement of apprentices for a period of one year. The recruitment drive aims to fill 195 vacancies across Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Trade Apprentice (ITI) categories for the year 2027.
Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit
Candidates must be regular students who have secured a minimum of 70% marks or 7.5 CGPA in their qualifying examinations (Graduate, Diploma, and ITI trade) for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026. Applicants with higher qualifications, more than one year of work experience, or those who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training are not eligible to apply. The minimum age of the candidate should not be less than 18 years as on 01st September 2026.
Vacancy Details
The total number of vacancies is 195, distributed as 50 vacancies for Graduate Apprentices (B.E./B.Tech in specified engineering branches), 30 vacancies for Technician Apprentices (Diploma in specified branches), and 115 vacancies for Trade Apprentices (ITI pass outs in designated trades). Stipend will be paid as per government norms.

Eligibility
- Graduate Apprentice: B.E. / B.Tech in ECE, Instrumentation Engg, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical Engg, Metallurgical Engg, Safety Engg, Aeronautical Engg, Aerospace Engg and Civil Engg.
- Technician Apprentice: Diploma in ECE, Instrumentation Engg, EEE, CSE, Mechanical, Chemical Engg, Metallurgical Engg and Safety Engg.
- Trade Apprentice: ITI pass out in Fitter, Welder, Turner, Machinist, Mechanic-Diesel, Electronic-Mechanic, Electrician, COPA, Draughtsman Engg (Mech) and Grinder.
- Secured 70% or CGPA 7.5 and above in qualifying exams for the years 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 & 2026.
