Gujarat National Law University (GNLU), Gandhinagar Campus, has released an official recruitment advertisement for the post of Senior Clerk on a contractual basis for the GNLU Legal Incubation Council (GLIC). Eligibility Criteria and Age Limit

Candidates applying for the Senior Clerk position must hold a Master's or Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Additionally, applicants require four years of experience with an Under-Graduate degree or two years of experience with a Post-Graduate degree in a relevant field, preferably in an educational institution, government, semi-government, public or private enterprise, or firm. The maximum age limit is 35 years as of the last date of application and the date of the interview. Highly desirable qualifications include a Master's Degree in Commerce, working knowledge of rules and regulations relating to accounts, and computer systems proficiency.

Salary and Contract Details

The position offers a consolidated fixed pay of ₹26,000 per month. The appointment is contractual for 364 days and carries no right to permanent absorption, renewal, or extension beyond the approved tenure terms. Selected candidates are entitled to one day of casual leave for each completed month of duties and will not receive any other leave.

Selection Process

All posts will be filled exclusively through a personal interview. Only eligible and shortlisted candidates will be called for the interview process, and the final selection will be based strictly on personal interview scores. The university will intimate the detailed selection process to shortlisted candidates via email after the application deadline.
