In addition, candidates must hold an ITI or Trade Certificate of at least one year duration in the relevant trade (Electrician, Electronic, Mechanical, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or Mason) from a Government-recognized Board, Council, or Institute. The age limit for applicants is 18 to 25 years, with age relaxations applicable as per Government of India and DAE rules.

Selection Process and Job Profile

The selection process includes a mandatory Trade Test. The Institute may conduct a written examination and/or screening followed by a Trade/Skill Test in the relevant trade to assess practical knowledge, safety awareness, and hands-on proficiency. Selected candidates will be involved in hands-on technical and maintenance work related to their respective trades across laboratories, residential facilities, and service areas, and may be required to work in shifts.
