ITDA Gumla EMRS Guest Teacher Recruitment 2026 Overview

The Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA), Gumla has announced a recruitment notification for hiring Guest Teachers for Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) positions in newly built Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) located in Gumla, Bharno, Sisai, and Dumri blocks. These positions are purely temporary and on a guest basis until regular teachers are appointed.

Vacancy Details and School Distribution

A total of 20 vacancies are available across four schools: EMRS Shilafari (Gumla), EMRS Kulkupi (Sisai), EMRS Sukuruhutu (Bharno), and EMRS Tati (Dumri). The subjects available for recruitment include TGT Hindi, TGT English, TGT Mathematics, TGT Science, and TGT Social Science, with 4 posts allocated for each subject.

Eligibility and Qualification Criteria

Candidates applying for the TGT posts must possess a three-year graduation honors degree in the relevant subject with a minimum of 50% marks from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates should have a B.Ed. degree or a four-year integrated B.A.B.Ed. / B.Sc.B.Ed. degree. Preference is given to candidates who have cleared CTET Paper-II (Class VI-VIII). If CTET qualified candidates are unavailable, candidates who have cleared STET may be considered.

Age Limit and Selection Process

The age limit for applicants is a minimum of 21 years and a maximum of 60 years. Retired teachers from state government, KVS, or NVS schools can also apply up to the maximum age of 65 years. Eligible candidates will be selected through a Walk-in Interview or Skill Test conducted by a district-level committee based on the merit list prepared from received applications.
