Eligibility
- Marine or Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or Naval Architect in possession of minimum First or Second class Motor/Steam Ministry of Transport (MOT) Certificate
- Master Mariner (Foreign Going) with 2 years of sailing experience
- III (Near Coastal Voyage Vessel (NCV)-Chief Engineer Officer) Certificate or Master (NCV) Certificate
- Inland Vessel Master Class I or Inland Engineer Certificate with minimum 15 years of service
- Basic degree in Naval Architecture with 7 years experience
- Diploma in ship building with 15 years experience
