Eligibility

• Medical qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956.
• Postgraduate qualification e.g., MD /MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• For Super-Specialty discipline: M.Ch. or D.M. for medical super-specialties.
• Required teaching and/or research experience as per the post requirements.

Age Limit

Professor: Up to 60 years or up to 66 years for Govt. retired persons. Associate Professor: Up to 60 years or up to 66 years for Govt. retired persons. Assistant Professor: Up to 55 years or up to 66 years for Govt. retired persons. DMS: Up to 55 years.

Salary

Professor: Rs. 3,05,000/- per month (Consolidated pay). Associate Professor: Rs. 2,55,000/- per month (Consolidated pay). Assistant Professor: Rs. 1,95,000/- per month (Consolidated pay). DMS: Rs. 15,600-39,100+GP Rs. 7,600+NPA (Level -12 of 7th CPC).
